Heat broiler to 350°F. Oil and flour 2 (9-inch) round baking container. Put away.

Join flour, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt in bowl. Put away.

Beat 1 1/2 cups sugar and 3/4 cup margarine in one more bowl at medium speed, scratching bowl every so often, until velvety. Add eggs, 1 all at once, beating great after every option. Add 1 tablespoon vanilla; blend well. Add flour combination then again with milk, beating at low speed after every option just until blended.

Partition player equally between pre-arranged skillet. Heat 30-35 minutes or until toothpick embedded close to focus tells the truth. Place onto cooling racks; cool 10 minutes. Release cake by running blade around inside edge of dish. Cautiously eliminate cake from dish; cool totally.
